CHEM PROOF SC Slow Cure Epoxy is a high-performance, 100% solids, 0 VOC, two-component epoxy primer engineered specifically as a moisture barrier for concrete floors with extremely high residual moisture levels. Designed to tolerate moisture emissions of up to 25 lb per 24 hours per 1,000 sq. ft., it provides a reliable solution for challenging substrates prior to installing floor coatings, coverings, or parquet.
This epoxy functions as both a primer and basecoat, creating a dense, impermeable layer that blocks moisture vapor transmission while enhancing adhesion for subsequent flooring systems. Its controlled 20-minute working time allows for proper placement and penetration, while the 4–6 hour dry time supports efficient project turnaround.
